Associated British Foods has instructed Collins McKay to prepare feasibility studies on a number of its surplus properties with a view to establishing the financial viability of conversion to another use, or letting to new tenants based on reconfigured and rationalised spaces. The properties, predominantly large retail units, have lain vacant for a number of years with each presenting a different challenge. Collins McKay’s role is to assess the needs of each building and work with a consulting team to create project budgets for assessment against the end use valuations.
